Linneman Recognized as One of Atlanta’s Up & Comers for 2009

ATLANTA - NOVEMBER 12, 2009 - iShake LLC, an info-tainment company focused on lifestyle and entertainment software applications for mobile and Web-based technology, today announced that its chief executive officer, Doreen Linneman, has been recognized as one of Atlanta's Up & Comers for 2009. The Atlanta Business Chronicle award recognizes the Top 40 under the age of 40.
From a group of over 400 nominees, the award winners were selected based on their professional and academic accomplishments, as well as their personal involvement in charitable and other extracurricular activities.
The awards were presented today at the Cobb Energy Centre in Atlanta. In addition to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, this year's award presentation was sponsored by LexisNexis and Mercer University's Stetson School of Business & Economics.
To ensure that the award means more than just having one's name in the spotlight for a single night, the Class of 2005 award winners organized a formal group that is open to all past and present Atlanta Up & Comers. The goal of the group is to remain committed to networking and working to focus on impacting the betterment of the Atlanta community.
"I am truly honored and blessed to have been recognized by my peers in the Atlanta community, which has plenty of superstars," said Linneman. "Professional and personal accomplishments, such as this award, were made possible by my fantastic supporting cast that includes family, close friends, co-workers, professors and mentors."
In addition to being a founding member of iShake, Linneman co-founded 12th Night Mobile, a consulting firm that provides customized guidance in the planning, designing and building of its clients' mobile technology strategies. Linneman holds a master of business administration from Emory University's Goizueta Business School and a bachelor of arts from Vanderbilt University. She is a dedicated athlete, including triathlon, XTerra, tennis and team sports. Linneman is a three-time Ironman finisher. She is also an active member of Peachtree Road United Methodist Church and the board of directors for IDEALS, a nonprofit organization that provides focused leadership training to high school student athletes.
