ATLANTA - OCTOBER 26, 2009 - iShake LLC, an info-tainment company focused on lifestyle and entertainment software applications for mobile and Web-based technology, today announced that it has launched its first Web-based application - shakedate. Now consumers can shake up their world without an iPhone or iPod touch.
Shakedate is a free, social-entertainment application intended to help consumers decide what they should do for their date night. With the option to set four parameters, users simply click on the "shake" button to obtain a date idea.
The mobile version of shakedate was launched in the Apple App Store on October 1, 2009. The Web version, which may be found at www.shakedate.com, is a mirror image of the mobile version.
The application features a Top 25 list of great date ideas for the current season, e.g. fall, winter, spring or summer, a list of user submitted stories about their best and worst dates, a page for users to submit their own date ideas, and a place to save your favorite dates.
"Launching a Web version of shakedate is strategically significant in that we have broadened our consumer reach," said Doreen Linneman, chief executive officer of iShake. "Our plan is to continue expanding our product offering beyond a single technology platform."
